    • No PayPal account is needed. PayPal accepts most commonly used credit and debit cards, as well as online checks.
  3. Payment by Mail (For U.S. Citizens):
    • If you prefer to pay by check or money order, please send a valid bank check or money order via USPS.
    • Include a letter stating your order details, providing as much information as possible, along with your contact and shipping information.

    • If you prefer a more personal touch, you are welcome to call our showroom during our showroom hours. Our phone ordering service is available Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm and on Saturdays from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm (Eastern Standard Time).
Browsing and Shopping:
  • On our website, you'll find browsing options located in on the top drop-down menu of links or scroll down the page to find different categories. Here, you can explore our products in different ways: by viewing all products, sorting by type, sizes, accessories, or by your favorite brands.
Product Details:
  • When you're on a specific product page, you'll notice five pictures of the product. To view all the pictures, you can either click through them using the arrow buttons located on the left and right of each enlarged photo or simply click on the small photo at the bottom to enlarge it.
  • On the product page, you'll also find important information such as the product name, model number, detailed description, and features. Sometimes, you'll also find measurements. Additionally, we provide the product price and any extra items included by UKE Republic, such as free setup and a padded uke bag.
Important Note About Product Pictures:
  • Please be aware that the product pictures on our website may not represent the exact product you are ordering or will receive unless otherwise stated on the product page. Most of our instruments are crafted from wood, making each one unique with different wood grains, natural patterns, and inclusions. Additionally, tuner finishes (chrome, gold, black) may vary.
  • We do our best to keep our website updated with our products, especially when there are changes from the manufacturer. If you'd like to see pictures of the actual instrument you plan to order or the one you will receive, please contact us. We will be happy to send you pictures privately via email or phone text. (Please note that any costs associated with requested text/data sent via cell phone are not the responsibility of UKE Republic.)

  • On the product page, you may find a drop-down menu. Simply click on the arrow to the right of the drop-down menu to choose different sizes, colors, or add-ons such as upgraded cases.

  • At UKE Republic, we take the time to thoroughly check and set up our instruments for the best sound and playability. The exact duration of this process varies depending on the unique needs of each ukulele.
2. Tracking Information:
  • Once your order is ready to be shipped, you should receive a tracking number via the email address you provided during the order placement.
  • It's essential to ensure that the email address you provided is correct. Sometimes, email service providers may mistakenly direct these tracking notification emails to your junk or spam folder.
  • If you haven't received a tracking number within a reasonable timeframe from when you placed your order, please check your email's junk or spam folder.
3. Shipping Delays:
  • Please keep in mind that the time it takes for your order to arrive at your doorstep is not directly controlled by UkeRepublic.com.
  • UkeRepublic.com is not responsible for shipping delays caused by factors like adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or issues beyond the control of our chosen shipping carrier.

  • At UKE Republic, we use trusted shipping providers like UPS Ground or USPS Priority/International or Parcel Select (USPS for smaller and local addresses, and all international shipments).
2. Estimated Delivery Times:
  • On average, shipments through UPS Ground or USPS take about 2-5 days to reach you, depending on where you live.
  • Please note that occasionally, deliveries may take a bit longer due to factors like weather, customs processes, holidays, national emergencies, or pandemics.
3. Express Shipping:
  • If you need your order to arrive faster, you can request express shipping when you place your order. Keep in mind that this service comes with additional fees, and we'll invoice you through PayPal or accept payment over the phone.
4. Shipping Address Verification:
  • Before you finalize your order, make absolutely sure that the shipping address you provide is correct.
  • UKE Republic won't notify third-party recipients, such as UPS Store locations or other mail centers, before shipping. You should inform them about the incoming shipment to avoid any issues or extra charges.
5. Payment Account Address:
  • Unless specified otherwise, we'll use the shipping address associated with the PayPal or Credit Card account you used for payment.
  • This becomes particularly important when you're sending an order to a different address as a gift.
  • UKE Republic can't be held responsible for items sent to the wrong address due to incorrect information provided.
6. Stolen Packages & MisdeliveriesOnce your order has been shipped and the carrier confirms successful delivery to the address provided at checkout, responsibility for the package transfers to the recipient.
If a package is marked Delivered by the carrier but is missing due to theft (“porch piracy”) or misdelivery, please take the following steps:
  • Contact the shipping carrier directly to report the issue and initiate any available investigation or claim
  • Verify delivery details using the tracking link provided (date, time, location, and any delivery photos)
  • Consider filing a police report with your local police department, especially in cases of theft
Please note:
  • UKE Republic does not file claims for stolen packages or misdeliveries after confirmed delivery
  • UKE Republic cannot access any additional tracking or delivery information beyond what is available to the recipient through the carrier
  • Claims and investigations must be handled directly between the recipient and the shipping carrier
To reduce the risk of theft or misdelivery, we strongly recommend shipping to a secure location, using a carrier hold, or requesting signature confirmation when available.
Once delivery is confirmed by the carrier, loss or theft is outside of UKE Republic’s control and liability.

  • If you refuse to accept a shipment, keep in mind that the shipping cost, both to you and back to us, will be deducted from your refund. This applies as long as the instrument is in new condition.
  • We will issue a refund only after receiving and inspecting the returned items.
International Shipping:
  • For international shipments, please note that UKE Republic is not responsible for VAT (Value Added Taxes), Duties, Shipping Service, or Brokerage fees imposed by the shipping agent. These charges are not included in the shipping cost.
  • It's a good idea to check with your country's mail service for any service disruptions or suspended services before placing your order. If a package is returned due to such disruptions, we won't be able to refund the shipping cost.
  • Similar to domestic orders, if you refuse an international shipment, the shipping cost, both to you and back to us, will be deducted from your refund, provided the instrument is in new condition. We will issue a refund only after receiving and inspecting the returned items.

8. Shipping Costs:
  • Our shipping costs include handling and material charges, along with insurance for orders valued at over $250.00 to protect against shipping damage.

To help prevent loss or theft, UKE Republic may require a signature confirmation on shipments that use paid shipping or contain high-value instruments. This policy is especially important during the holiday season when package theft is more common.

Please note:
We do not have information about individual delivery locations or neighborhood security, so this policy applies to all applicable orders.
UPS or USPS may not deliver without a signature if this service is required.

Options for your delivery preference:
  • Indicate your preference at checkout: When placing your order, you may leave a note specifying whether a signature is required or not. This helps us communicate your preference to the carrier whenever possible.
  • UPS My Choice: Sign up for UPS My Choice - to authorize delivery without a signature or request an Authorized Shipment Release, if your shipment qualifies.
  • Through UPS My Choice - Redirect for Pickup: You can request the carrier to hold your package at a nearby UPS Store, Access Point, or Customer Center for pickup at your convenience.
