Kala All Solid Mango Tenor XL Ukulele with Hard Foam Case #T0922
Model: KA-AMNG-TXL_W/CASE
Available at UKE Republic – professionally set up for optimal sound and playability.
If you've ever wished for the warmth of a tenor with a little more room to stretch out, the Kala All Solid Mango Tenor XL answers the call.
Designed for players who appreciate a larger playing platform without moving all the way to a baritone, the Tenor XL features an oversized body and an extended 19-inch scale length. The result is a ukulele with greater projection, enhanced sustain, and a rich, full voice that's especially impressive when paired with its factory-installed Low G tuning.
Built entirely from solid mango, this instrument produces a warm, balanced tone with excellent clarity and sweet overtones. Mango is prized for its beautiful figuring and koa-like tonal character, making every instrument visually distinctive and musically expressive. As a solid wood instrument, it will continue to mature and develop even greater tonal richness over time.
The wider 1.5-inch nut offers additional finger spacing that many players appreciate, especially those with larger hands or guitarists transitioning to ukulele. A slotted headstock, cream binding, satin finish, and elegant black-cream-black rosette complete its understated, sophisticated appearance.
A built-in truss rod allows for future neck adjustments as needed, while D'Addario Clear Nylon Low G strings give this instrument a broad tonal range that's equally at home with fingerstyle arrangements, chord melody, and accompaniment.
To protect your investment, Kala includes a lightweight Hard Foam Ukulele Case with a plush interior that's ready for rehearsals, performances, and travel.
Before shipping, every ukulele receives UKE Republic's Pro Setup, ensuring comfortable action, accurate intonation, and exceptional playability from the very first note.
