KoAloha KTM-S00 Special Issue Solid Curly Koa Slimline Gloss Tenor Ukulele w/ Case
KoAloha KTM-S00 Special Issue Solid Curly Koa Slimline Gloss Tenor Ukulele – Made in Hawaii
Available at UKE Republic – professionally set up for optimal sound and playability.
This isn’t your average KTM-S00.
This Special Issue KoAloha Slimline Tenor was commissioned by UKE Republic and upgraded with beautifully figured Curly Hawaiian Koa, giving this already distinctive model even more visual depth and character. Under gloss finish, the curl shifts and moves in the light with that unmistakable high-end Hawaiian koa shimmer players chase.
And paired with KoAloha’s slimline body design, it creates something genuinely unique in both feel and response.
Built in Hawaii by KoAloha—one of the most respected names in ukulele since 1995—the KTM-S00 keeps the lively, open KoAloha voice players love while trimming down the body depth for added comfort and a slightly more immediate, focused response.
The thinner body makes this tenor especially comfortable for longer sessions, stage use, or players who prefer a more ergonomic feel without sacrificing projection. Despite the slimmer profile, this instrument still carries surprising volume and resonance.
The neck has the fast, easy-playing feel KoAloha is known for, making barre chords and movement up the fretboard feel effortless. Add in the Musubi soundhole, crown headstock, Paua inlays, and glossy curly koa construction, and you’ve got an instrument that feels unmistakably Hawaiian without becoming overdecorated.
This is a professional-grade tenor with a modern comfort edge and upgraded visual appeal.
Includes a UC-T Black Hard Foam Case from UKE Republic.

Why This One
The slimline KoAloha models already have a devoted following because they feel incredibly comfortable while still projecting like a full-bodied tenor. Add upgraded curly koa into the mix, and this Special Issue version becomes something a little harder to come by.
Lightweight feel. Big Hawaiian voice. Serious visual presence.
